Under their resumed but limited time EcoGrant offer, the company guarantees that all such trade-ins will be scrapped, to ensure a positive impact on the environment.
The grant is available towards the cost of any new petrol, diesel, or fully electric cars from Volkswagen's range.
Combined with SEAI and VRT grants, customers can benefit from €14,000 off the price of a new e-Golf, including the new Executive Edition.
The incentives — ranging from €1,000 to €5,000 — will be paid against a variety of Volkswagen models, on trade-ins which need to have been owned by the customer for at least six months.
