The car is powered by a 280hp 2.3 petrol or a 190hp 2.0 diesel. The new model will feature a front limited slip differential and launches with a 6-speed manual gearbox. A 7-speed auto will come later.
It is also the first Focus ST with selectable Drive Modes. Standard is an advanced independent rear suspension, while a continuously controlled damping system is an option.
ST-badged Recaro sports seats are standard.
The new car is priced from €39,995.
