The SUV range comprises Ateca, Tarraco and the brand’s best seller Arona. Voted Ireland’s Small Crossover of the year in 2019, Arona accounts for 30pc of overall sales year to date, an increase o f71pc compared to 2018 sales results.
New retailer appointments in the strategic urban areas of Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick have also contributed towards SEAT’s success as have the rest of their well-established and committed network.
Commenting Niall Phillips, Brand Director at SEAT Ireland said: “As we reflected on these great results for the first half of the year, we can confidently see the impact the brand is having in the Irish market as SEAT becomes a first choice in the SUV market for many Irish motorists.”
