Fiat Chrysler Auto is to debut plug-in hybrid versions of three Jeep models at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas,

The Wrangler, Compass and Renegade vehicles will carry a 4xe designation to mark the technology.
The powertrain format for the Compass and Renegade will be 4-cylinder petrol engines at front and electric motors on the rear, giving a hybrid AWD system.
The combined power output is expected to be 240hp on both.
The Wrangler may use a V6 petrol hybrid setup related to a powertrain already used in a Chrysler car.
