Audi tweaks up its Q2 SUV

Audi has tweaked its Q2 compact SUV four years after they launched it, writes Brian Byrne.

The main outside changes include standard LED headlights, with LED Matrix versions available. There have been alterations to the octagonal grille and the air intakes. The rear has also been revised, with polygon motifs added.

Inside there are revisions to some elements, including the air vents and gear lever.

A 1.5 150hp turbo petrol engine will power the car at launch, which includes cylinder on demand (COD), temporarily deactivates the second and third cylinders. Further TDI and TFSI engines will be added before the end of the year.

The car arrives in Irish Audi dealerships before the end of the year, and pricing will be available before that.
