The first electric vehicle from Skoda is now in Irish dealerships, writes Brian Byrne. The Enyaq iV is priced from €37,465 inclusive of grants and rebates.
A range of up to 412km is possible with the entry level, while a version with enhanced equipment car travel up to €535km on a charge. A home charger from Skoda will take six hours for a 100pc charge from zero, while a PowerPass app and card provides access to more than 1,600 charging points in Ireland, including the ESB network. The app-card also provides competitive rates to the IONITY DC charging network.
Supply of the Enyaq is tight for this year, but extra units were sourced for September after a very successful pre-sale, and some 1,200 units will be available for 2022, according to Skoda Ireland.
An AWD version will be launched in 2022.
