The first Renault C-segment electric car, the MeganE, is getting closer to arrival as a fleet of pre-production units set out on road trials, writes Brian Byrne.
First seen in concept form as the Megane eVision, the production car will feature a 217hp electric motor and a range of 450km.
The 30 pre-production cars will be driven through this summer by Renault engineers. Their final shape will be disguised by a lines and patterns camouflage.
