Renault’s new Clio is now available to test drive and order at Renault’s 31 dealerships around the country, writes Trish Whelan. Around 60,000 Clios have been sold in Ireland.
This latest version of the iconic hatchback debuts a more assertive style and cutting-edge technology, while a completely redesigned front end showcases sharp new lighting signature.
Three trim levels are offered -Evolution, Techno and esprit Alpine fusing the Alpine brand’s sporting hallmarks and Renault’s adventurous new styling. Each version has its own trim.
New Clio is available with a TCe90 petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox and delivering a fuel consumption of 5.2 L/100kms, and a 145hp E-Tech petrol/electric powertrain with a range of up to 880km and which consumes 4.2L/100kms combined (WLTP rated).
Up to 17 advanced driver assist systems include adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning and rear cross traffic alert.
Prices are from €24,845 for the Tce 90 and from €34,045 for the E-Tech full hybrid option.
