Electric sports car to star at Ireland's first EV motor show

An appearance by a new all-electric sports car, the MG Cyberster, will be a highlight at an Irish motor show dedicated to electric vehicles in mid-February, writes Brian Byrne. The event will feature more than 50 individual models from up to 24 brands.

Organised by Nevo, the independent information platform for EVs in Ireland, the show on Saturday 17 February will take over two halls of the RDS in Dublin, both showcasing the models available on the market and providing the full range of related information needed by potential buyers through talks by experts. There will also be test drives available on site of a number of EVs showing at the exhibition.

The event is supported by Bank of Ireland, in collaboration with AXA Ireland insurance and supported by Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland.

The MG Cyberster is expected to reach RHD markets in Europe in the summer.
