These are the first images of the Volvo ES90 on the model's debut day, writes Brian Byrne. The car is slated to arrive in Ireland later this year.
The ES90 is the sixth fully electric car from Volvo and in styling is deliberately a cross between sedan, liftback and SUV. The first Volvo car with 800V technology, it comes with a claimed longer range and faster charging than any electric Volvo before. The ES90 can add 300km of range in just 10 minutes at 350kW fast charging stations and offers a driving range of up to 700km under the WLTP testing cycle.
The car is a 2-row, with a cargo capacity under the liftback rear of up to 425L, expandable to 733L with the rear seats down.
Irish prices and specifications will come closer to launch.
