The car in which seven time World Champion Michael Schumacher scored his first ever Grand Prix points is to be auctioned at COYS' sale in Nurburgring, Germany on 10th August.
This Benetton F1 Ford Cosworth is a direct derivative of the B194 in which he took his first title in 1994.
It is eligible for any historic Grand Prix events and remains highly competitive. There is also a comprehensive file documenting the car's history, restoration and its most recent race-preparation last year.
Other cars under the hammer on the day include a 1938 BMW/AFM 328 Roadster ex Gunther Bechem/German GP and a unique Lancia Aprilla Riva Spider (pictured left).
The original Noddy Car once owned by Enid Blyton's company - complete with its unmistakable red and yellow paintwork - is to be auctioned, writes Trish Whelan.
Estimated at between £20,000 to £25,000, the sale of the iconic little motor car which is almost an exact mirror of the one that has been made world famous in Enid Blyton's timeless classic of Noddy and his adventures in Toytown, takes place at the Silverstone Auctions hosted Classic Sale on Saturday 27th July at Silverstone.
This Noddy car is one of the most easily recognisable cars anywhere on the planet.
The actual car is a 1969 Fiat Gamine Vignale, a small two seat roadster produced by Carozzeria Vignale from 1967 to 1971 and based on the Fiat 500 platform. The car is fitted with a larger capacity 594cc engine and syncro gearbox.
It has had four owners and only covered a believed 4,553 miles from new. Most recently, it has been looked after by marque specialists Middle Barton Garage in Oxfordshire.
Silverstone Auctions expect a huge amount of interest in this Noddy Car. The number plate - NOD 513 - is the finishing touch.
An Aston Martin ordered by George Harrison in 1965 sold at auction in London last week for £350,000 after fierce bidding from around the world.
The car was produced in late 1964 and supplied new on 1st January 1965 to the famous Beatle.
The car was eventually knocked down to an anonymous Beatle and Aston Martin fan from Houston in Texas who said: "George harrison would be amazed about all the money his car is going to raise for Christian causes."
In the same auction by Coys in London, a Mercedes-Benz 540 K formerly owned by Bernie Ecclestone, which had been estimated at £500,000, sold for £864,000.
