Fuel-saving 'stop start' systems will be introduced on Mini models by parent company BMW.
This follows a decision by the company to make the systems standard in most of its 1 Series models from May.
It hasn't been revealed just when the Mini will get the technology, but it could be announced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, when the much anticipated production version of the Mini Traveller concepts will be launched. BB.
