The entry level price for the 2.7 diesel and 3.0 petrol V6 engines is the same, and 90 percent of all pre-orders for the car have been for the diesel version. There are also 4.2 V8 petrol options, in naturally aspirated and supercharged versions.
The XF replaces the S-Type, and the car represents a whole 'new story' for the brand, as it brings to its saloon range the future of design and quality for Jaguar in the future.
Though a full-size saloon, it has the lines of a coupe, and in several respects reflects the style cues inaugurated by the latest generation XK coupe.
The new grille theme has also been incorporated into the recently revised X-Type and XJ Jaguars. BB
