Dunboyne Motor Club are holding the Spirit of Dunboyne Motorsport Festival on 3/4 October 2009 celebrating the racing held there in the 50s and 60s.
On the Saturday there will be a car treasure hunt and a bike poker run, with the meet up time for both at 12.30 (bikes in Village and cars in Dunboyne Castle Hotel), while later in the afternoon (around 5) there will be a barbeque and display of local up-and-coming young bands in Brady's carpark.
On the Sunday from 12 noon, there will be Classic Car & Bike displays, parade laps of the old/new circuit and family entertainment for all. The Road Safety Association simulator will be in attendance along with a display of modern racing machines.
