RHD versions of VW's revised Touran are to go on sale from end September, although a date for Irish availability hasn't yet been announced.
It comes with 5- or 7-seat variants, and the second generation of VW's Park Assist is an option, which now provides for automatic parking at 90degs to the kerb.
The Touran gets for the first time the new 1.2 TSI petrol engine with 105hp and CO2 emissions of 149g/km. This loses a further 10g/km in BlueMotion version.
A second petrol and four diesel engines will be available, ranging in power from 90-170hp.
External changes include revised front wings, bonnet and front bumper which are joined by new wing mirrors, rear lights and a restyled tailgate and bumper.
More details when the Irish specifications and launch date are available.
