Ford's new Ranger has debuted at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, Australia and will be coming to Ireland next year.
The car has a bolder look, modelled strongly on US Ford cars looks, and comes with more power including a 150hp 2.2 diesel produced by Ford at Dagenham, England. A 3.2 200hp diesel will be available in some markets.
Six-speed automatic and manual transmissions will be available, while options include Adaptive Load Control, Trailer Sway Control, Voice Control and the segment's first rearview camera system.
The cargo box of the new Double Cab is more than 100mm wider than before - 1,549mm long by 511mm high and with a maximum cargo width of 1,560mm. Volume is an impressive 1.21 cubic metres.
