The car, which received the accolade 'Favourite Green Car' at the recent Paris Motor Show, has CO2 emissions of 87g/km. There are virtually no NOx emissions from the CT 200h, which is powered by a hybrid system that includes a 1.8 petrol engine.
Energy savings efforts even included the provision of a digital audio system that consumes only half the power of an equivalent analogue system, and a substantial use of LED lighting technology.
