The 10 cars shortlisted for the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2011 awards are the BMW 5 Series; Kia Venga; Nissan Juke; Nissan 370Z; Opel Astra; Peugeot 5008; Peugeot RCZ; Renault Fluence; Saab 9-5; and Skoda Yeti.
The awards are sponsored by tyres and automotive systems company Continental, and organised by the members of the Irish Motoring Writers Association.
The final result, which will include a number of category awards, will be announced at a function in the Convention Centre, Dublin, on November 25.
