A facelifted version of Renault's Laguna goes on sale in Ireland in mid-November, among a range of new and revised models to be released through the next year. The car will have a 1.5dCi engine in Band A and a more powerful 2.0 dCi in Band B. The new version will be available in mid-November starting from €24,490.
The Irish distributor is also to continue its 'double scrappage' initiative into 2011 for cars ordered in November for delivery after January 1, even though the Irish Government hasn't said it will extend the current state scheme.
For 2011, MD of Renault Ireland Eric Basset has promised 'sexier' Irish versions of some of the current range, Clio, Megan and Fluence. The company is also to bring in its Wind sports car, with a 100hp turbocharged petrol engine, priced at €24,490.
