New Audi A6 lighter, more frugal

Audi has gained a 15 percent weight advantage with its next generation A6 by using a composite aluminium and steel construction.

The new car goes on sale in the spring of 2011 and will offer emissions which put it into the B CO2 band in Ireland for tax purposes.

The new A6 will also be available in hybrid form, the second production model from the brand to be so.
