Fiat is ramping up its involvement in 2011 by providing a fleet of support vans to help distribute goody packs to collection points around Ireland before the event, as well as a fleet of Fiat Bravos for use during the event.
One will carry the official timing clock and follow the leading runner home.
All 40,000 participants will be entered in a draw to win a brand new Fiat 500 and the winner will be announced just moments before the run kicks off. RTÉ 2FM will broadcast the vehicle handover live.
The Flora Mini-Mini Marathon takes place on the June Bank Holiday, Monday June 6. Entry forms are available in the Evening Herald every Wednesday and Saturday, and online at www.florawomensminimarathon.ie.
