Audi launches second annual Production Award

Audi is calling on Irish students, researchers and engineers to begin submitting their ideas for the automobile production of the future.

The Audi Production Award honours creative ideas for efficient use of resources in the production process.

This year's Audi idea contest topic is 'efficient use of resources in production'. This is an important subject in many areas - ranging from the manufacturing of components to logistics and water consumption.

Participants can be team players or lone warriors, a student or professional engineer: the competition is open to all.

Finalists and winners will be invited for a two-day visit to Ingolstadt and will be able to swap experiences, discuss their concepts and establish valuable contacts during an expert workshop with management staff from Audi Production.

The clever suggestions may fill a maximum of ten pages. The closing date is 30 September 2011. The best ideas will be rewarded with prizes totaling €10,000. For more information visit www.audi.de/production award.
