Renaults extends and doubles scrappage

While the Government Scrappage deal ends today, Renault will extend, and double, its scrappage scheme so customers can still purchase a Renault car with the company's extended offer.

Customers don't have to wait until the 10th birthday of their 2001 registered motor as they can get extended and doubled scrappage on any Renault car now.

Renault will give customers the opportunity to continue to save up to €5,800 on every 2001 registered car. This means the Clio Royale will be priced from €9,990; the Megane Royale diesel from €15,300, and the Fluence Royale diesel from €16,000 with lowest car tax Band A and five years unlimited mileage warranty.

Eric Basset, Managing Director of Renault Ireland says "Scrappage can't stop: it has worked for the industry, for the customer, and for the economy, so we will continue to offer customers value with double scrappage and extend it to all 2001 cars."
