Traffic signals idea

This is a nifty Korean idea which could cut down on the amount of traffic 'furniture' in cities.

It's a so-called 'wearable' traffic signal, which can easily and cheaply be installed on a suitable tree near a pedestrian crossing area, or where there are temporary road works.

The signal is powered by a solar system which fits to the tree above it, so no underground cables are required.

The idea isn't in actual production yet, as the inventors ponder potential problems, such as students stealing them to decorate their rooms.
