Renault Ireland is offering two years' free battery rental on its Fluence ZE and Kangoo ZE electric vehicles, worth a saving of €2,300 to the customer over the period.
Renault's sales system with its electric vehicles involves separate lease of the battery at €82 a month including VAT.
The launch offer also includes five years' unlimited mileage warranty, and an extended month-long test drive offer, with the customer only paying for charging fees.
The offer is available for a limited period only. Fluence ZE prices start at €21,610.
