New Renault Mégane range

New Mégane has undergone a number of styling changes, refreshing the range for 2013. Prices start from €18,990.

Renault will guarantee the price of a new Mégane no matter what the outcome of the upcoming Budget, for orders taken before the 31 December 2012.

New styling sees the front end with a more modern feel, while LED daytime running lights provide a distinctive new lighting signature. The bumper features a gloss black finish with chrome highlights and the selection of wheels has been revised.

The refreshed range also includes Bluetooth hands-free telephony, connectivity and audio-streaming as well as USB/jack sockets, cruise control, as well as other useful technology includes lane changing warning to other road users.

It is the first Renault model to be available with the two new Stop & Start engines. The Renault TCe115 Stop & Start is the first Renault petrol engine to feature direct fuel injection and turbocharging for fuel-efficient performance. This new 1.2 petrol powerplant outputs 115hp and has peak torque of 190Nm. Versions of Mégane powered by this engine return 53.3mpg for the combined cycle, which Renault say is a record for a petrol car in this class. C02 emissions are 119g/km (Band A) while the car's range is in the region of 620 miles, similar to the distances associated with diesel models.

The new diesel dCi 110 Stop & Start is the range's best selling 1.5dCi engine which has a record low fuel consumption of 89.7mpg. C02 emissions are just 90g/km.

The range includes Renault Mégane Hatch, Coupe and Grand Mégane.
