Dacia Logan MPV here this summer

Logan MCV estate
Dacia's model range in Ireland will be expanded later this summer with the arrival of the Logan MCV estate (which made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show early this year), and in 2014, the Sandero Stepway will join the Dacia family here, writes Trish Whelan.

The new Logan will be available in a 1.2 75hp petrol, a TCe 90 petrol and a 1.5 dCi 90 diesel.

Dacia, which launched to the Irish market a year ago, now has 25 dealerships around the country, the most recent ones include Linders in Finglas, Michael Grant in Sandymount, Bradleys in Galway, Hogan's in Ennis, and JJ Burkes in Mayo.

Almost 1,000 orders have been placed for the Duster and Sandero models with the brand taking a 1.5 percent of the retail passenger car market in just 12 months.

All Dacia engines are Band A or B meaning very low road tax and come with a standard 3-year, 100,000km warranty, extendable to five years unlimited mileage warranty.
