The Regatta, which started yesterday, runs through the weekend at one of the world's most beautiful man-made harbours at Dun Laoghaire.
This is the fourth year that Volvo Car Ireland has been involved in this event and the second year that Volvo Car Ireland has been joined as title sponsor by its principal dealer in South Dublin, Spirit Motor Group.
The Volvo brand is synonymous with sailing around the world from the Volvo Ocean race which finished in Galway in 2012, to various local sailing regattas.
The Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta is the largest sailing regatta in Ireland with almost 400 boats participating this year in various categories. Many participating boats have travelled from around Ireland and further afield to take part in what is a pinnacle event for Irish sailing.
A full range of new Volvo cars will also be on display on the Plaza beside the duration of the event from the new Volvo XC60 to the V40.
