The citation said she was receiving it for a lifetime of involvement in motorsport and driver training for young people.
It was presented at the Annual Dinner of SIMI in Dublin. Accepting the award to standing acclaim, Rosemary said she was dumbfounded, and that she intended to keep working with young people as long as she can.
In other Awards, Frank Keane Volkswagen Dublin won the Franchise Sales Operator of the Year, Holcroft Motors in Drogheda won the Franchised Aftersales Operator of the Year, Naas Gearbox Centre Limited the Independent Operator of the Year and Frank Byrnes Autobody of Galway the Bodyshop of the Year accolades.
