From last Wednesday, 9 July, Aer Lingus is flying to and from the brand new Terminal 2 at London Heathrow, writes Trish Whelan.
This means quicker processes and shorter walking distances through the airport on arrival, meaning just 15 minutes from landing to taxi.
In the past, it has also often been a fair old trudge - sometimes a gallop - to get to your flight departure gate on time.
You can now move quickly through the airport with self-service check-in kiosks, 17 security screening lanes and four fast track channels.
The Fold Circle Lounge (opening soon) is now bigger, there are over 50 shops and 17 bars and restaurants to choose from.
Transferring to other flights will be seamless and quicker, with same terminal connections to a number of Aer Lingus' partner airlines.
Should you want to go into London by train, you can book your Heathrow Express ticket during your flight booking on aerlingus.com. The non-stop express service leaves from Heathrow airport to Paddington Station every 15 minutes, with a journey time of just 15 minutes.
