VW Group Ireland boss returning to UK

Volkswagen Group Ireland Managing Director Simon Elliott is to leave his position to take up a new role in the UK.

He will take up his new role in early September as Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd.

Mr Elliott was appointed MD of Volkswagen Group Ireland in 2011. He was previously a Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in the UK.

His replacement as head of Volkswagen Group Ireland has yet to be announced.
