The car is available in three trim levels, Touch, Feel and Flair. Power comes from a choice of three petrol engines with 75/82/110hp and a 100hp diesel. An automatic transmission comes with the highest power petrol unit.
A design detail which gives the car a distinctive look is the 'Airbumps', polyurethane protection panels designed to prevent the slab metal sides from being damaged in car park accidents.
The Cactus is 200kg lighter than an equivalent Citroen C4, and offers up to 3.1L/100km fuel economy CO2 emissions as low as 82gm/km. Citroen claims that running costs for the C4 Cactus are 20 percent less than conventional C segment hatchbacks.
The interior features a fully digital, intuitive interface with controls grouped around a 7-inch touchscreen.
