The C-Class hybrid that Mercedes-Benz will launch later this year will be one of a number of new vehicles on the company's Geneva Motor Show stand, writes Brian Byrne.
A 2.0 petrol engine and an 80hm electric motor will deliver a combined 275hp power in the car, which is one of 10 plug-in hybrids Mercedes-Benz will launch over the next three years.
A seven-speed automatic transmission will feature in the car, which will be able to drive around 35km on electric power alone and will offer acceleration to 100km/h in less than seven seconds.
