The classic lines of the Caddy have been retained, but the interior has also been upgraded to offer the driver a more pleasing working space.
The new Caddy will reach RHD markets later this year, and Ireland in September, following its European launch in June. It will be available with a much enhanced set of safety technologies, including City Emergency Braking as part of a 'Front Assist' surroundings monitoring system.
An adaptive cruise control will be an option for the first time on a Caddy.
The new EU6 2.0 diesel engines will be available in 75/102/150hp, while EU5 engines will also be available in some markets. There will also be petrol engine options in 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 capacities.
The third-generation Caddy has sold more than 1.5m units over the 11 years of its life.
