Meath man collects Late Late Clio

One lucky Meath man celebrated this week as he collected the keys to his new Renault Clio, won in a competition held by Renault on the Late Late Show, writes Trish Whelan.

James Dardis of Lobinstown, has previously owned two Renault Clio cars and was ecstatic to win his third Clio.

Along with the other two finalists on the night, he also took home €5,000 in cash.

Celebrating Renault Ireland’s two-year sponsorship of The Late Late Show, and the launch of its 162 offer, Renault is giving everyone who buys a 162 Renault 3pc finance, 3 years servicing, and 5 years warranty. This offer has been extended until the end of August on Captur, Kadjar and the all-new Renault Megane.

Paddy Magee, Country Operations Manager Renault Group Ireland said James ‘was great fun on the Late Late Show, so I was delighted when his fob matched the winning Clio, and the fact that he has owned two Renault Clios in the past made his win all the more special’. He wished him lots of happy and safe driving in his new Clio.

Present at the car handover were Paul Norris of Joe Norris Motors; James Dardis (winner of the Clio) and Ruth McKeogh of Renault Ireland.
