This is the new generation Jaguar XF Sportbrake, revealed yesterday by tennis star Andy Murray, writes Brian Byrne.
There will be five grade versions when it goes on sale, with an engine range that include petrol and diesel units with power outputs from 163hp-380hp. A standard AWD system directs most power to the rear wheels in normal driving.
A 'kick' gesture control system allows for hands-free opening of the tailgate. Gesture control also operates the panoramic glass roof.
The car offers a total load space of 1,700L, and a 2-tonne towing capacity, with an electrically-activated towing ball option.
A self-levelling suspension is standard.
Jaguar is the official Car Partner of the Wimbledon Championships and to celebrate the relationship the premium estate was revealed on a replica Centre Court.
The first XF was launched in 2007, with a Sportbrake version in 2012. The current XF saloon was launched in 2015.
