Honda’s plans to launch six electrified cars over the next 36 months.
The Japanese car maker’s ‘Electric Vision’ strategy will see all Honda’s European mainstream models electrified by 2022, three years earlier than previously planned.
The next generation Hybrid-Only Jazz will be the first model in the brand’s European line-up to wear the new eHEV powertrain badging. Sales of this Jazz in Ireland will start in Spring 2020 with the Honda e EV to follow. It features two motor hybrid technology as standard and the addition of a new ‘Crosstar’ variant.
Honda’s Sales and Marketing Director, John Saunders, said Honda has been a leader in Hybrid and advanced technology for many years and are further driving change as part of their 2022 electrification strategy. He invites all customers past, present and future to call in to their nationwide dealer network to talk about which powertrain will best suit their needs.
