Skoda's first electric car, the Enyaq iV, will be on sale in Ireland in April of 2021, writes Brian Byrne.
The SUV, similar in size to the brand's Kodiaq, will be available in three versions, with driving ranges of 340/390/510kms. A 4WD version will have a 460kms range.
Skoda Ireland expects the Enyaq iV 80 with the 510kms range to be the biggest seller.
Just 270 units will be available to the Irish market for next year, and demand is expected to outstrip supply.
Ireland Brand Director for Skoda John Donegan says that by the end of 2022, Skoda will have more than ten electric or partially electric iV models in its range here. He says these will help the brand challenge for the number two position in the Irish market.
Prices for the Enyaq will be available in coming weeks.
