Continental Tyres National Adventure Racing Series returns

Continental Tyres are sponsoring the third National Adventure Race Series which are scheduled to be run in September and October, writes Brian Byrne. The Series was cancelled last year due to covid, but the multi-sport event will operate six events in Galway, Fermanagh, Kerry, Cork, Donegal and Wicklow.

Competitors will be taking part in running, cycling and kayaking across some of Ireland’s most challenging – and picturesque – terrains. Continental Tyres are supporting the series with an innovative digital marketing campaign, as well as providing a range of prizes including tyre health checks and replacements at Best Drive, top-of-the-range Adidas running shoes with Continental’s patented rubber sole grip, as well as the company’s most advanced bike tyres, the GP5000s.

Tom Dennigan of Continental Tyres Ireland said the company 'couldn’t be happier' to be back this year to support the growing community of outdoor enthusiasts. The Series is open to all adventure racing enthusiasts who complete a minimum of three races taking place in Cork, Kerry, Galway, Fermanagh, Donegal, and Wicklow.
