Ford to bring new cars to European markets

Ford will launch five all-new passenger vehicles, made in Europe for Europe, by the end of 2029, writes Brian Byrne. Their theme will reflect Ford's rally heritage and will include a new compact, multi‑energy member of the global Bronco family, to be built in Valencia, Spain, from 2028.

It will be joined by a small electric hatchback and a fully electric small SUV in an urban‑friendly format. Two additional multi‑energy crossovers will complete the new portfolio.

The plan was recently launched to key European dealers and Ford's European partners.

Nicola Gilda, chair of Ford’s European Dealer Council, said the move shows Ford is “back to win” in the region, reigniting its performance brand image in the passenger car market.
