Mazda has unveiled the all-new CX-6e, a fully electric mid-size SUV set to arrive in European showrooms in late summer 2026, writes Brian Byrne. The CX-6e features a rear-mounted 258hp electric motor, a 78 kWh LFP battery and a claimed range of up to 484 km.

Inside, the SUV emphasises driver-focused technology, including a head-up display, a 26-inch dual touchscreen, voice recognition, gesture control and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

It will also come with an extensive safety package, including advanced driver assistance systems, child presence detection and nine airbags.
