Kia keeps Soul name

Kia is to retain the concept name for its new Soul cars which make their World Premier debut at the Paris Motor Show in early October. The concept was first shown earlier this year in Geneva.

The new car will be called the 'Kia Soul'.

These cars reveal the 'fun' side of Kia; poised to defy conventions offering buyers an opportunity to express their personalities.

Three concept cars - Soul Burner, Soul Diva and Soul Searcher - were created by Kia's European design team.

The Kia Soul is not a replacement for an existing vehicle but a totally new car.

The Kia Soul goes on sale here in early 2009.
