Audi Waterford opened the doors to its new state-of-the art showroom on Friday.
Located at Butlerstown Roundabout, Cork Road, Waterford, the new terminal style showroom will display 17 new Audi models and up to 80 used cars.
Audi Waterford will be owned and operated by Anthony Boland while Brendan Walsh will be the General Manager. The opening of this new showroom is expected to create up to 30 jobs in the area over the next two years.
The €6 investment in the new terminal forms part of an overall strategic plan for Audi Ireland. Audi is investing €80 million in its dealer network and is currently in the process of rolling out 10 dedicated Audi dealerships throughout Ireland with other openings planned for later this year.
To date, 2012 has been a very successful year for Audi Ireland, incrreasing sales by 9.2 percent in Ireland, selling more cars in eight months this year than the whole of 2011, and being the number one premium car marque in Ireland.
