More flights to Turkey from Shannon

The sun holiday market from Shannon Airport has received a welcome boost this week with the announcement that WingsAbroad will double the number of flights to Bodrum from Shannon next summer with the first flight commencing on Sunday 26 May, writes Trish Whelan.

The charter flights to Turkey will now operate for the full summer season with the last flight leaving on 22 September next year.

WingsABroad has a large following in the Shannon and Munster region and are delighted to now be able to offer their customers more flights. In 2011 their total capacity for the summer season was 10,000 which expanded to 12,500 in summer this year. They plan to continue this expansion with a target of 16,000 for summer 2013.
