Renault Ireland has launched the new generation Clio in Ireland at a starting price of €14,990, writes Brian Byrne.
Power options are a B rated 1.2 petrol engine with 75hp or a 1.5 diesel, A rated and outputting 90hp. With CO2 emissions of 83g/km the latter version is said to be the cleanest in its class.
The new Clio will only be available in 5-door format. It’s the fourth generation of a nameplate that was first launched in 1990.
