Iconic movie is name of special Mustang

Ford's Mustang Bullitt is a special edition based on the iconic movie in which the Mustang played a starring role, driven by actor Steve McQueen, writes Brian Byrne.

Shown earlier this year in Detroit, the version for Europe will be on sale in June, powered by a 464hp 5.0 V8.

There will be two bespoke colours — Shadow Black or classic Dark Highland Green.

The Ford stand also showed off a Ka+ Active, an SUV-themed version of the brand's entry-level car, and a new Ford Edge large SUV in ST-Line grade.
